Hello world..this is the final blog entry.....I'm not going to go into depth about South America and we all we did but i'll just say that as always we had an amazing time and did it all!!! The end of the trip was obviously a tragedy and still for so many of us, especially his family it hurts so much. Its taken awhile to post something on here as i just didn't know what to write so I have ust posted the speach from the big mans funeral and have cut and pasted a few of the hundreds of coments people wrote about him. None of us will ever regret this trip it was the best thing we've ever done and i'm proud to say that us four shared his final adventure with him and know Steve would wanna say thanks to all for everyone's messages and for sticking with us throughout the trip, especialy to his family who he loved so much and to ours to. Thanks to everyone.....and more than anything thank you Steve from us four other lost boys...your in our hearts and memories forever and will always be our brother xx Farewell speach How can i possibly put into words
What we feel about Steve
How can we possibly comprehend
How his poor family grieve

If I speak about how we miss him
And how he made us all feel
Well I´ll break down in tears
Like I´m sure you all will

So today we ask remember
That legend we all knew
The moments and joy
That Steve shared with you

For me and many others
We met him at uni
Though it seems like a lifetime
That, that ´Northern hunk´new me

We had football twice a week
And many a drinking sessions
And unlike most of us
Fairy even went lessons

He was popular, funny
Inspiring and smart
Won so many headers
And broke so many hearts

Living life everyday
Like he´d nothing to loose
Entertaining us with impressions
And crazy dance moves

And though he stood 6 foot two
Biceps pumping out sleeves
Each and everyone of us knew
The gentle giant that was steve

If you look on our website
Or on his dedication page
It´s astonishing to see
The comments that were made

A legend, a hero
The nicest man they´ve ever met
A gentlemen, a brother
Who they´ll never forget

But for me what stood out
More than anything
Was how people discribed him
As so genuine

Because that was Steve Fairy
Right down to the core
A true gentlemen
That no-one could flaw

He was there through the good times
And the bad times at that
Gave advice and direction
Kept us all right on track

He did so much for others
Put all of us before him
He was our best friend
And we loved and adored him

From his housemates from Uni
Sam, Paddy, Adzy and Dave
Us four lost boys
And the many friends he made

And well this last year being travelling
Is the best thing we´ve ever done
I´d like to say thank you Steve
On the behalf of everyone

You made our one year away
Greater than we´d ever wished
And without you these memories
Could never exist

The whole adventure from the start
Was right down to you
And its broken our hearts
To fly home without you

Kathy, Kieth and Nikki
I cant find the words to say
Cos although we´re all broken
It don´t compare to your pain

But please do find comfort
In the thoughts of everyone
