Vancouver airport - 15.30, Wednesday 21


Well sitting here at Vancouver airport, just after watching the Chelsea v Utd game. Shame someone had to win!
We got asked if we'd prefer to travel tomorrow as they seemed to be overbooked. Seems more people want to go to Frankfurt than London. We asked for aisle seats but I reckon we were lucky to get any seats. They changed our seats at the last minute and we got better ones. A young guy, in front of us got bumped to Business class and he was wrapt ( I would have been, too).
Our plan, when we arrive in Frankfurt is to pick up our rental car and head off to Munich. Our car has a GPS and after seeing one at work in Vancouver, in Kevin's car, I reckon it will be so useful, even if she did lead us through some lovely, leafy residential roads after I got us lost. Kevin chose to entrust me as the navigator, using a small tourist map, than the GPS. Still can't work that one out???
Out hotel in Munich is on the Northern side, which makes the journey a bit shorter and easier to navigate. We are there for Thursday & Friday nights, then we head off to our first house in Austria.
