Got to Vancouver ok. The aircraft seating seems to be more cramped than ever but we coped (just). No cry babies other than Ros. Food was surprisingly good.

Got through the airport ok and found our hotel. Got a message saying Kevin and Linda were already at their hotel - 5 minutes walk away.All very straightforward until Ros decided to have a shower and a change of clothes. Funny....our case had a lock...bugga!! wrong case. Very, very similar but it was a guy from the South Island.. too many Kathmando cases for Kiwis. Anyway, I went to reception and Ros contacted Kevin.

Kevin & Linda turned up at our door really quickly so we headed back to the airport for an exchange. Everyone was very helpful and things were sorted out. So back to hotel and decided to go out for eats, beinga absolutely starving. We aare right in downtown Vancouver and it looks a real buzzy, lively place with an endless supply of bars and restaurants . After a quick look decided on an Indian. Menu could be from Hamilton but the food was good and the beer could. All reasonably priced.

New camera received from Kevin and tried a couple of shots. Seems hard to mess up but I'll try. Going out on the harbour today aftermeeting K&L for breakfast at their tall hotel, looking over the harbour.

We were up for nearly 2 days and knackered when we went to bed. Kevin joked, you'll go out like a light and wake up at 03.00. He was wrong, it was 03.45!
