Day 21: Okay. So we didn't reach Broome on day 21 as I had scheduled. But we are learning that sometimes you just have to throw the schedule out the window!
We packed up our tents and made our way s.l.o.w.l.y out of the Bungle Bungles this morning and headed for Fitzroy Crossing.
Another hot day behind the wheel, but we were relieved by the lovely pool that greeted us at Fitzroy River Lodge.
We have decided to leave Geiki Gorge until our return trip, and head to Broome tomorrow.
I'm getting excited, as we are getting closer to the Horizontal Waterfalls!

kazza thats the name of the special place that you're going to... the horizontal falls! how is ur budget going? do you have play money left at the end of every week?
fionap Hey Karen. It's the Horizontal Falls near Derby. So far the weekly budget is holding up...however there is not much left over to put in the 'funbag'! But we have only done one major tour, which was at Kununurra, so that put a considerable dint in the weeks budget (in fact I think we stole from another week lol). Any how, we're working on if we really want to do it and we know we won't be back here again (at least until we're grey nomads), then we are doing it! X
