Hey flower press, glad to hear you made it safe and sound back home...19 hours on a train, sounds horrible! What did I miss in Rio? We´re snowed in at the moment, a complete white out today, but still the snow should be great tomorrow and sunshine is forecast! Currently sitting wrapped up in the shababa scarf...several people have asked where I brought it...nice work! Am extending my snow adventure before the charity stuff and going to another resort for a few days with some Brazilian friends here....how´s work going? (sorry, smug b****!) Just spent 19 1/2 hours getting the train from Leeds to London (long and throughly unexciting story but my Su Doku puzzel skills are now remarkably improved, confident I could challenge Barnaby........!?!) and then I read all about 8m of powder snow....Can you even begin to imagine how much I dislike you at this precise moment in time! And trust you to find the dirty dancing "staff quaters", keep up the good work my girl xx

Hey, I am on the slopes now at Portillo, Chile. 8meters of snow in the last two weeks, powder and sun everyday. Boarding coming on, great teacher (though Non, he is no Gregoir!) Amazing hotel like something out of the shineing (a wierd one hotel resort) and I half expect to see some spooky kid trundling down the corridor and Jack Nickleson weilding an axe! Also a bit like the Dirty Dancing film as I have discovered the staff bar hidden away from the guests. It is a hot sweaty latin dancing affair compared to the more gentile guests bar and disco! Plenty of dance partners to practice the moves with - you have to love this ski stuff and the best bit is I have two weeks of it!!!

Happy Birthday you old wrinkly! Still enjoying the local beef? How's the boarding? Can Gregoir ever be replaced? Just got back from the caribbean - really hot and sweaty ... and the weather was pretty good too!! Ah, I've got nobody to inflict my terrible innuendos on...
