Another cold night - thank god for the bottle! Traveled the lesser highways until Dubbo & the Newell.

Visited the Visitor Centre at the Parkes Radio Telescope. Always wanted to see it but hadn't! Watched 3-D video of someone climbing all over it.

My FreeCamps book is way out-of-date & stuffed me up around Parkes. Pressed on to Forbes & paid $27 for a powered site (same for unpowered)! Worked out well 'cos I had a little 2-speed heater on full-blast all night long!

It was great to have a decent shower & feel clean again.
