Not one of our photos but our spa was this relaxing. It was called 100 islands resort and spa in Surat Thani. We had a 6 hour boat ride to get to the mainland and we checked into this plush boutique hotel. Zella was in her element and couldn't wait to sample the spa treatments. After a dip in the lagoon pool we retired to the biggest hotel room i have ever been into, Zella was raving about the soft towels and that we had air con and hot water! We then treated ourselves to a thai massage which lasted just under and hour, only 3 pounds. We were bent every which way but straight away i felt like a new man. Zella then had a seaweed wrap which left her skin softer than a baby's arse! she kept laughing about the tiniest paper knickers she had to wear. After a fantastic nights sleep we headed off to Phang Nga where the James Bond island is from the man with the golden gun. We didn't know how to get there but we landed on our feet when the owner of the hotel said he would take us half way! we got in his massive 4x4 in leather lluxury something we left behind at the airport. He took us half the way which was just over an hour journey and then he left us at this bus stop in the middle of nowhere being told a bus would pass soon. We waited for about half an hour and then the fateful bus turned up, it was a local bus for local people and cost us a quid to travel for just over an hour and a half and dropped us off right outside our present hotel. Bargain or what. It rained on the way monsoon style but it was nice to be cold for a change which is the first proper downpour of the trip. Tomorrow we are off to travel around the James Bond island before heading further south. thats how for now
