Hi Everyone, Well I travelled here to split the trip from the UK to Oz. Luckily my good friend Terry was making a similar trip to Oz and suggested I make a stop in Hong Kong with him. I landed three hours or so before him and made my way to the hotel by myslef. Hong Kong is very like the rest of China only a lot easier. I mean is it easier to get around - everyone speaks English, the signs are in both languages, the trains and Tube systems is great. People are helpful, it is clean, friendly and I felt safe. We didn't do much on the day that we landed, I made my way to Hong Kong Island to our Hotel. When Terry had arrived we had a meal at a local resturant, and then went for a foot massage, which was wonderful and the perfect way to relax after a long flight. The next day we did the tourist thing, Went to the Peak and had a great view - I know the pics look a little foggy but believe me it was really very clear. we took the ferry across to the mailand, looked around teh shops, but tried to remember that I had a full back pack already and that I could possibly buy anything as I would not be able to carry it. We left the following day for Sydney, again we were on different flights.
