Port Macquarie - Taree - Forster
We headed to Forster for our next stay of 7 nights. We stopped off at Taree on the way for breakfast, had a walk around as we are early for check-in at Forster.
Arrived at Forster Holiday Village and checked in early. Nice unit and all amenities provided.
A drive to Woolies to stock up for the week - very similar pricing to Melbourne. Dropped Fay at the RSL to have a play whilst I went back to unpack the groceries. Went back to the RSL and this place is very large with entertainment areas etc. Fay bought another couple of bricks in another RSL. No luck here either. There are a number of clubs and we will get around to them all during the week.
Fay cooked dinner tonight and it is nice to have a home cooked meal.

Don had a visit to the doctor to get some antibiotics for his chest problem - bronchial pneumonia, In and out of the Doctors in 20 mins, excellent service.
We drove to Tuncurry - just over the bridge and checked out the clubs over there. Not much different to others we have been in. The Sporties club was very big with angry pokies. They have some really good entertainment happening here.
The weather is still being kind to us with only a bit of wind in the afternoon. We checked out the beaches and the pool area [Bullfrog pool] a natural ocean pool and looks as though it would be very busy in summer. Drove around a bit longer looking at the sights and home around 4pm. Enough time for Fay to catch some more sun reading and Don to watch a movie on Austar.
