Long straight stretches of road this section of our journey. We arrived at Dubbo around 9.30am and straight to the zoo to purchase our tickets. Find our motel and then on to a café for breakfast.
Back to the zoo and must say was very impressed, fantastic atmosphere and living quarters for all the animals. We saw the tiger being fed a whole kangaroo carcass and he will clean that up in around 30 mins. The Galapagos Tortoises were enormous and worth the visit. Around 4-4.30 hrs. later after driving around the zoo in our own car, stopping at every exhibit we made our way back to our motel for a pre-sleep and to catch up with email etc. Free Internet here so that's good.

We had dinner at the RSL - roast pork and vegies yummy too. Pokies not too kind until Fay cracked a random jackpot to return her stake to her. Lucky girl. We left shortly after and made our way back to the motel. Nice and comfy here and very friendly staff. A bit of TV and then some sleep ready for the next leg tomorrow.
