Yay!! I found my camera charger!! Typically I find it the day before I leave Buenos Aires so haven't had the chance to take that many photos, but nevermind...... Have been in BA for about a week and a half now and I love it!! We've had such an awesome time here, it's a great city. Have done a bit of sightseeing whilst here, went to Recoleta - an area where there's a cemetery for the rich and famous. The gravestones are humungous!! Really huge, like houses! I'm not joking. Evita is buried there along with various generals and ex presidents. It's pretty impressive and a little creepy at the same time, you can see the coffins really close up through the glass doors of the houses. Some of the graves are falling apart though - we actually saw a see-through coffin in one area of the cemetery (it was a really old grave too) - needless to say the poor fella was pretty wasted away, could only see arms and a hip I think. Nice. We've been to the cinema loads too coz it's so cheap here (like a pound). Walked around various squares and visited the obelisk (which is in my photos). Met and hung out with a couple of Swiss girls. Had a night out in an area called Palermo (really nice bars) - crawled back at about 6am after too many cocktails. And obviously we've been eating a hell of alot of steak! We're making the most of it b4 we leave. Sadly Per (Swedish guy) left to go back to Sweden on Tuesday. I should be doing a sky-dive tomorrow if the weather's good. So fingers crossed! Then I'm catching a night bus to Santiago tomorrow afternoon from where we fly to New Zealand.
