The students performed at this church in Dernancourt this afternoon. It was a beautiful day in the French countryside as we drove around Amiens and Albert to Dernancourt. The students performed very well again and the local audience were so appreciative of their performance and impressed with them as young Australians. We had an eventful day today. We started the day by visiting the Eiffel Tower. We had plenty of time to see it as a security scare left us stranded at the base for about 2 hours. The howling winds and the cold as well as the drops of rain the tower itself made the wait really fun. Found some spherical bollards outside the shop where we had ice-creams after dinner - the perfect spot for some statues!! All fabulous in this beautiful and quaint little town.
