The students performed at this church in Dernancourt this afternoon. It was a beautiful day in the French countryside as we drove around Amiens and Albert to Dernancourt. The students performed very well again and the local audience were so appreciative of their performance and impressed with them as young Australians. The mayor was a wonderful host, who made sure we paid due attention to the connections between Dernancourt and the Australian efforts to assist during and after the war. After the performance we exchanged flags and were hosted to 'friendship drinks'. It was a lovely afternoon.
