Had an easy drive to Ieper after 2 smooth and stress free flights. All are gathered and safe and sound. Checked into the hotel, had dinner and then attended the 8pm Menin Gate Service. It was a quick one tonight, but tomorrow night's service, with our group involved will include some hymns, anthems, speeches and wreath laying. So, some travellers who had left home earlier, were already at the airport waiting for the big group to arrive. We needed some snacks to sustain us while waiting!!
