Hello everyone back in Australia, Today was a very emotional day, as all of you know, today was Anzac Day. This morning we woke up at 1:00 am for the dawn service at Villers Bretonneux. It was very cold. I had 7 layers on and as the sun was coming up the temperature started to get colder. It was an amazing experience for me and I had never thought that I would be representing Australia when I first started learning the trumpet in Year 7. This trip has been amazing but sometimes this trip has been very emotional at times. When I was a little girl I would always go to the city and watch Grandad march and sit on my Dad's shoulders, but sadly Grandad passed away at the beginning of last year. Anzac Day means a lot to my family. Most of my uncles on my Mum's side fought in World War 2 and my Great Great Great Uncle fought in France on the Western Front. After the dawn service we had 2 ceremonies in Bullecourt. We are off to Disneyland tomorrow everyone is so excited. Only one day to go and I can't wait to come back home to share my amazing stories.
