I HATE mosquitoes- they are so annoying and really the most pointless things in the world!  Apart from that life is fantastic out here.  We are at the moment chilling on the beach, in 30 degrees, with the sun (thats another thing i hate- being so pale- grrrrr!)

Since the last time i worte we have moved quite a long way.  From BAnos we went to Tena, where we had a great few days, whitewater rafting on one of them.  This was so much fun and the river, as it had been raining was higher than usual and so much faster and the rapids were great!  Another thing about it though, were the mosquitos, and the humidity. 

From that brief stop, we made our way to quito, for 4 hours, hoping to book a flight, but finding out that you cant buy them on the weekend in Ecuador- great!  That was pointless.  However, we did get ourselves onto a bus to here, canoa and i am so glad we did.  It is soo chilled out here- no one is stressed, you get up when you want, wander na dhave breakfast and then possibly move on to the beach.  If you feel like it- like Alexandra and Germander, go and have a surfing lesson or paragliding!  Then in the evening we go out and find something to eat before going to a local bar for a drink and then head to the beach, to sit by a fire and sing- or rather lsiten to the loacls sing and play the bongos.

It is the smallest town in the world, no bank, no supermarket, just a little fishing town with loads of restaurants all selling really good fish dishes, yet they all seem to tbe the same!  However we are really not complaining and it is really good toget a way from the hussle and bussle of most of the cities we have been to.

Tomorrow we leave sadly to go to Otovalo, a market town which is apprently amazing and then on to Quito.  I cant believe we are leaving Ecuador on Tuesday to Chile.  It doesn{t seem like we have been here that long.  It also means that Monica is catching her flight back to england.  This means that the first of us is leaving and gradually one by one, we are all going back hom- arrrhh.  Also 1 month today i am going to be taking a flight back from buenos aires to england.  That is very upsetting.  Oh well.
