Well, i am here on my last leg and i cant believe it!? I have only 2 more weeks and tomo we leave to go to Buenos Aires.? My lovle ylittle group has slowly shrunk and then grown again.? Moni left us in Santiago, we miss her loads and alexandra is now in BA as she has her flight on monday and wants to go and get in as much shopping time as possible!? I am still with Gem and we have met up with HAnnah again, and 3 guys, all voluteers from Cochabamba.

I should really start from chile though.? We arrived adn there are 2 words that summed it up...cold and expensive.? We had a great time there, but it was much like any other european city and the poeple, compared to other south americans were really snobby. However we did have a great time in meeting perter...no sorry Prof. Peter Soothill, Gems dad, who was on a conference there.? he took us out for a very nice lunch and we also went up into the mountains, with another of his doctor friends.? We also met up wuith a friend of gem and moins who has been teaching patagonia, chilean side.? She was lovely and we all had a lot of fun, but it was good tomove on to Argentina.

We arrived in Mendoza, first off, to be taken under the wing of the granny of a very good friend of mine-? Claire, yuor granny was amazing.? She took us to the park there,a dn it was great to have a proper house, instead of a hostal etc!? There we went wine tasting and also to see an olive oil factory.? These were both really interesting, we even got to see the botelling factory at one of the vineyards!

We then moved on, Alexandra leaving us to take a flight, as the 30+ hour bus journey to the iguazu falls, didnt really fill her with much enthusiam.? Gem and i had 2 nights and a day on just buses, which was thrilling. When we did arrive though we met up with all the volunteers and its been so much fun. However, i ahve no time to talk about that now as must dash and have supper.

Will write soon about the falls, which have been amazing and so beautiful.
