Thursday, 22nd December Up at 4:30am to get the room packed up, just managed to squeeze everything in inc the new hammock. Crazy mini van driver somehow managed to get us to Trang without crashing, we had time before the next bus to grab some breakfast then headed to Satun. Thursday, 10th December Lots of waiting around for connecting buses but got to Koh Lanta and our bungalow on stilts is really nice. The resort has a pool, restaurant, bar and pool table and it's right on the beach, what more could we want. Had a few drinks at a regee bar down a small track it was a great setting then went for supper at a beach side restaurant called Funky Fish, happy anniversary to us 10 years!! Monday, 7th December Bus dropped us near the Khao San road so we walked round and made for McD's which is now 24hr which Tom was pretty happy, arriving at 5am into Bangkok isn't the best time of day especially on the Khao San Road which was full of foreign bloke learing over Thai girls. Sunday, 6th December Thank God for the Scandinavian bakery in Vientiane, after that journey a really good cup of tea and cinnamon bagel was much needed and appriciated. Tuesday, 1st December After a very long 6 hour twisty twiney journey through the mountains we arrived in Luang Prabang, I still don't feel great so we had a quick look round and got Tom some lunch then headed back to the guest house.
