Five days from now we leave on our second arctic expedition. Why are we going back? First and foremost, we loved our previous trip to Inuvik, NWT. The Dempster was incredible and I knew that I would be back. Plus, they extended the road another 120km to Tuktoyaktuk, the only place in North America that you can drive all the way to the Arctic Ocean.
What's going to be different this time? Well, when we went up in 2016 we tented all the way up and back. That was a lot of work. In the epilogue to my last trip I said was going to get a camping trailer for future trips and last year I bought a True North OSV trailer. It should make set-up and break down of camp much easier. It also allows us to carry a lot more stuff which will make the trip a little more comfortable. Now after months of planning and preparation we are almost ready to leave. I can't wait for this epic adventure to begin.
