Well day one is in the bag. We drove for 7 1/2 hours (10 hours including stops) and we are now camped at Ten Mile Lake Provincial Park just north of Quesnal. It’s an unremarkable park on an unremarkable lake. I suppose it is a good enough place to eat dinner, sleep and then eat breakfast.

Five days from now we leave on our second arctic expedition. Why are we going back? First and foremost, we loved our previous trip to Inuvik, NWT.
