The markets are a funny ol' place addictive, exhausting and annoying! Having said that we did not do too badly after 6hrs wandering around them. At one point none of a ladys bags were for sale, I think word got around that we were tight!
We stopped for another nice lunch nachos followed by eating out of another pineapple, this time Hayley joined me :)
On the theme of eating, breakfast at the hotel did not disappoint after the initial panic we had missed it! Hayley soon rectified that with a call to the reception. She then got in a panic that she did not know what to do first, eat her granola, drink her pineapple juice, finish her croissant or tuck into her poached eggs :)
We are glad we explored a bit today as we found the Siem Reap equivalent to Brighton Lanes with lots of tempting coffee shops, we popped in one this eve so I could test the ice cream (for work) v important.
So more about this eve, Hayley will be more than happy to share with you how she saved the day tonight, no she didnt ride the tuck tuck! She suggested we left early to go here http://pharecircus.org/ an amazing concept of a social enterprise that ensures money earnt from tourists goes to the local people. Coming to Rickshaw Travel soon! Oh and to the sussex downs students. The show was really great and with the tuc tuck ride too it was a fab night :) thanks Beauts for making sure our seats were ok :)
A little sad tonight as the turn down service didnt happen in our room today #complaint ;)
