Since we last wrote, we have moved into our apartment, had most of our furniture delivered and installed and got the cable tv hooked up. We must have 60 channels - about 10 are in english and naturally the cable company packages it so that there is one english speaking channel in each package, so that to get all the english channels you have to subscribe to the whole thing! The kids did an entrance test for school on Thursday and started on Friday. The school is called The International School of Macau and is Canadian with curriculum from Alberta Canada. Stephen is already learning a lot about Canadian geography in a unit on mapping. Stephen is going well in Grade 5 and has made a couple of friends and seems to play soccer at recess and lunch. Hehas found the maths ok, but they are up to 3 digit long multiplication by 3 digits eg. 3...

We spent the day in Hong Kong after leaving Australia - Rich went straight to work and the kids and Cath went to the zoo and the park and caught several double decker trams which were great fun. We had a relatively tiring day as we got to the hotel at midnight local time, which was the equivalent to 3am Sydney time. The kids (not to mention the parents) were exhausted. Will explore Hong Kong more on weekends in the future.
