Did I mention we decided to get up early yesterday? Unfortunately the upstairs neighbor was making noise until about 2am so I had very little sleep. But the day was without drizzle so we happily set off, top level of the sightseeing bus, cold air whipping my hair. I wanted to get to bed early last night, but that was not to be, again ... sounded like the upstairs neighbor was moving furniture for a party - and the disco music started at 11pm.... and this morning ...

Today is the Day of remembrance, the British version of Veterans Day. Well, we chose Golden Tours because we knew where the office was. We bought tickets , entered the bus, and sat for a half hour going through the bus terminal. Finally on our way!! We passed Buckingham palace, Hyde park, Marble Arch, the Arab quarter, and Joeys looking in the Windows of the Aston Martin showroom ... Hyde park angel of peace. Well, if you are not a Potter fan, you might as well pass up this post. We've spent the day walking to the Victoria station, waiting in line for the coach (read that as bus in US) and then the drive was over an hour to the Warner Brothers Studio. But it was worth it!! The tour was amazing - even for someone who is aware of all the moving parts of putting together a film. I took loads of pictures, as did Joey - and halfway thru the tour i stopped for a butter beer...

I wrote a bunch about the museum yesterday, and cannot find it anywhere! Also part of the problem is that if I write something on the iPhone, it doesn't show up on the iPad - however, all the pictures are on the iPhone, so it is difficult to - or I haven't yet learned how to - put them both together... Yesterday we spent repacking and organizing our suitcases, but today we left the QM2 and took a coach to Victoria station, then ad taxi to the apartment. Of course more organizing and a quick walk around Victoria.. We got as far as Westminster Abbey and my feet gave out. We passed the new Scotland Yard complex and there were LOTS of police hanging round. We asked what was up and were told of student riots yesterday and more planned tonight - they suggested we cle...
