This morning I had my second acupuncture treatment. The first cut down the dry skin itchy feeling- turns out it was on the gallbladder meridian! Took a taxi from the ship to Bruges. It was drizzly, so we walked to the main plaza and noticed the Salvador Dali museum and gallery, so we stopped in and had a delightful couple of hours learning more about Dali and his art. Then it was lunch time so we chose a lovely restaurant where Joey had ribeye and I had mussels and fries. The bathrooms were interesting- with all the controversy about transgenders and bathroom issues this might be the answer - "this is the standing bathroom" and "this is the sitting bathroom". Period. We walked around, saw many chocolate shops, saw lovely glasses frames , and when it started pouring, we ran back to the location where we were to meet our taxi group to get back to the ship. And tonight we packed up as we are leaving the ship tomorrow in Amsterdam- more tomorrow!!

Lotte I loved Bruges. Never being touched during the wars, what an architecturally coherent city. The bathroom signs (in Europe) are quite creative. I am still thinking of creating a little photo-book of all the various signs. Many of them make me smile or laugh, like the one you took, that can be pretty helpful for the next step. :-) Thank you ver much!!! xox
