A big day of travelling from Amalfi but enjoyable. The bus has wifi so that helps all us oldies keep up with blogs, emails, FB etc....and helps pass some time... Cool weather at the moment so that makes it pleasant for travelling. On our travels today we visited the Commonwealth War Cemetery in Monte Cassino beautifully set out with roses and gardens but a solemn feeling throughout the area. So many young people who lost their lives 1939 - 1945. Over 4000 graves of both men and women from all different countries together in one place.
Arrived in Florence and went out for a banquet dinner at the Villa Machiavelli.. A great fun evening with food wine and music. Today we are off touring Florence and the leather stores then lunch and then out to San Gimignano - the true heart of Tuscany. Tomorrow we move on again to Venice and the pointy end of our Europe adventure. We will be back in our bed on Friday evening.
