Another relaxing day with a little shopping in Ealing, checking out the shops we didn't get to yesterday, followed with a delicious roast cooked by Ian and finished off with a lazy evening in front of the telly.

We took our time getting going this morning, unpacking and enjoying the space we have for the next couple of weeks. Ian cooked us bacon and eggs for breakfast. With all the domestics out of the way we headed down the road to Ealing Broadway to get the boys a haircut. The queue was rather long and they were open until 7pm so we started with some shops.

Not having flown out of France before and with the car to return, we thought it best to give ourselves plenty of time, heading for the airport early. Quite needlessly really, as returning the car was easier than a rental and they drove us to the terminal. We checked in electronically and proceeded through security with all our luggage. Our last day in Paris started off fine and sunny. Went down to the Tram station to purchase our Mobilis tickets to get around for the day. First stop is the Cite de Sciences et de l'Industrie (sort of a hands-on science museum). Quite pricey but a lot to do. Situated in a large park to the north of the city centre, it was pretty devoid of people. Evidently, the locals don't come near it. The time has come for the good-byes. Who knows when we'll see John again? We really are very grateful for his hospitality, we wouldn't have been able to do so much with out him. So back to Paris we go, this time taking the fastest route with tolls. We haven't booked anywhere but did check out the Premier Classe book and selected one just on the outskirts of Paris yet close'ish to the airport. No problems checking in.
