Day 23. 02-03-16

Today I am up early again preparing for the trip back to the euro-6 .. I get everything ready and check again!! Ken turns up to give me a ride back to Heathrow and we set if in bright sunshine... There is not too much traffic fortunately and we make really good time.. I have ample time to sit and reflect on the past couple of days and wonder if there is a "world" beyond ours and if mum knew what we had all done to say our goodbyes ??? An hour earlier than expected they opened the check in gate and I passed through security without any problems (which is unusual for me at airports) even my electronic passport works when I'm given the opportunity to use it.. I have managed to get window seats for all 3 flights to Tasmania and am hoping for a better journey than the ones returning home. We board the plane and 'bonus' I have an empty seat next to me. Very soon and almost on time we take off and the return leg is under way.. I do manage to sleep on this flight even though the cabin crew woke me for a meal (she said she had called me often before actually shaking me). Silly woman should have left me alone !! No, she was really nice and I was actually grateful for the meal.. After that it was back to sleep and I woke at a great time, just as the sun was rising over Abu Dhabi !! Beautiful sight greeted us as the plane came into land, I managed to get a few good shots with the iphone… and then it was the inevitable mad dash to get off.. No worries on the return flights down south I have plenty of time before the next flight !! It's now 24 though, where did that go ??
