We never do things by halves me & Liam... so after 2 days travelling by plane and no trains available to Chang mai we thought you know what would be fun... an overnight bus. Luxury bus. What was luxury about it I have no idea... it ran on Thai time so was obviously late to pick us up, we were squashed for 12 hours, the toilet was a hobbit hole you practically had to crawl into & we all got kicked off at a petrol garage in the middle of nowhere at 5am.

After all being loaded into baht buses we got dropped to the center of town, luckily enough right outside a McDs with wifi because neither of us knew where we bloody were or anything other than the name of our guesthouse and it was pitch black.

After a quick iced coffee from McDs which we had to buy in order to use their wifi, we got a map and the address of our guesthouse...

Our next great idea was to save the cab fare, as it looked easy enough to walk. So off we trotted in the dark following a printscreen of google maps... 2 hours later we gave up, got in a tuk tuk, who also didnt know where he was going... Finally at about 8.15am and 3 hours after arriving we was finally pointed in the right direction back to where we had got in the bloody tuk tuk. It was up an alley where we'd walked past like 100 times. Gahhhh. Just a 4 hour wait till we can check in...

Anyway we have a pool now so you can stop laughing at our misfortune instead be jealous haha.
