Touuugh wake up call this morning haha. We woke up a little too late so had to rush through breakfast and get on the bus to go to The European Commission. We had two different lectures. The first one discussed the institution and the second was about exiting the EU from crisis. After the lectures we had free time before the bus ride home. A group of us went to go find lunch but ended up splitting up to get different things. Tori, Kayla, Nicholette and I all had Belgian chocolate on the brain so we had quick lunch at a little sandwich café and then went to Nehaus Chocolatier which we were told is better than Godiva. It was right down the road so we all were super excited and went crazy in the store hah. I bought 7 pieces and they all were delicious. The white chocolate ones were my favorite but I also got strawberry filled, raspberry filled, a hazelnut cream one, a coffee one, and a chocolate covered cherry that had liquor in it. I took a bite of each one to sample and attempted to save the rest but obviously I devoured them as soon as we got on the bus to go home. We took a taxi to get back to the hostile to make it to the bus on time at 2:15 but of course we didn't end up leaving until around 3:30. Once we got back we all changed and went to the bar on campus since it was 4th of july we had to celebrate somehow hah. We played games with the French students there and taught them how to play some American games like thumper, which was pretty funny. Turns out they have a similar game which they call rabbit so it wasn't too hard to explain. Then Amber taught everyone a game from Barbados but it was pretty difficult for them to learn since you have to count in English. So we attempted to count in French to make it easier for them so I got some nice study time in hah. We stayed out pretty late even though we were exhausted so I passed out as soon as I got back to the dorms.
