Sunny & cold this morning - quite a shock after the unseasonally warm day yesterday. Brattleboro has its own covered bridge which has been maintained in excellent condition so it is our first point of call for pics. A trip north on the freeway takes us to Quechee Gorge which is supposed to be worth a visit and a walk. It is raining again and strangely warm at 18 degrees. The rain isn't heavy but it is enough to stop us doing anything more than have a driving day of discovery to find some more covered bridges. Some prove to be quite difficult to locate especially the private ones but we do manage to see a few as we travel the scenic route VT100 through tiny towns which look like they should be in a story book.
