Hello all. SO we loved New Zealand if you didn´t know already. We did so much stuff it was amazing. In 4 weeks we travelled from Auckland down the 2 islands and back again using the Magic Bus. We got the ticket 2 for 1 so we made a massive saving on travel costs. In a nut shell we:

Black water rafted, visited steamy, smelly rotorua, Ian sky dived, 18.5km hike on Tongiriro Crossing. Hiked through Abel Tasman, Visited some wineries. Visited some breweries. Rock climbed. Horse rode through Lord of the Rings film scenery. Saw lots of amazing wildlife including rare penguins, whales and albatross. Had an antarctic experience in Christchurch. Raced Sprint cars. SAw England lose to the All Blacks and IAn managed to have a root canal done amongst it all too!

So it´s been wonderful and amazing and tiring too. It´s a fab countryand the people are really friendly too.

South America is a daunting prospect. We are in Santiago now and it´s ok actually but i wish my Spanish was better, altho it is improving by the day! WE are supposed to be going skiing today but Ian is suffering with jet lag and will not get out of bed so we´ll see if we get there.
