So, last day and a half in Cusco. After 4 hours sleep, went for a trip to the Temple of the Sun and the local market. Good to get out in the fresh air!!! Lunch was fantastic, a local veggie restaurant that was cheap and served huge portions of the most delicious food. I had a burger and chip carb fest (well I was in recovery!!). Last evening together, the family went to experience their first taste of guinea pig. Glad I'm a veggie, as Jane put it, George (as was), looked like chargrilled roadkill, complete with claws and a snapped open jaw, so you could see his teeth!!! We also had a cake and the whole restaurant sang for Erin's birthday. Brilliant night. Airport provided last bit of entertainment with a man carrying 4 cockerels which were all c*** a doodle doing (thought it was someones phone to start with), assuming he was taking them on the plane with him? And a woman carrying a dog in the security queue!! Great finish to my last amazing adventure, couldn't have wished for a nicer group to end my travels with - Jane (of coarse), Jodie (great roomy), Ruth, Heidi, Maryanne, Ben, Erin, Brandon, Nicole, Nicole, Ivana and obviously not forgetting our fantastic guides, Kennedy, Robinson, Johan and Julio. So defining memories of Peru........

Cats in Kennedy park, cats in general (they are everywhere), "I will give you 24% of my time", Inca Cola, coca leaves ("do you know how important they are??!!"), coca tea, coca sweets, cameloid jumpers, cameloid t shirts, cameloid scarfs and hats, cameloid pizza (ok, I like saying cameloid), neon statues, hummus day, onion people, onion straw, maybe alpaca, The Andes "the biggest mountain range in the WHOLE world", Pacha Mamma, George the ex guinea pig, Julio the Llama, s***head, Bulls***, Maccu Picchu marathon, 25 hour stay awake, bloody pan pipes (I didn't cave though), No gracias, dodgy dollars, small hats, lamb photo opportunities, massage with a happy ending, football on Lake Titikaka, caca, "Handbag off at weddings", Pisco sour (mmmmm), Maccu Picchu, luggage belt dolls, luggage belt band, naughty donkeys, Julio's laugh (wish I'd recorded it), Quinoa, Steps up, steps down, did I say Inca Cola???? .............
