So the end is here, well, lets call it end of chapter one!!! If nothing else, this adventure has whet my appetite for more travels, and WOW, what an adventure it's been. I've hiked high up into the mountains and down into caves, sailed in the ocean and rafted down rivers. I've travelled on planes, trains, and automobiles (and boats, tuk tuks, an ox cart, an elephant, a safari truck and many a bus). I've seen the fiercest predators and some of the worlds most illusive animals. I've swam with sea lions and turtles, I've been invited into peoples homes to experience how they live and learnt about their history and culture, I've eaten local food and drank the local beer and spirits (some great, some dodgy), I've seen wonders of the world, stood on the equator, faced my worst fears......and lived. I've walked, ran, swam, danced, jumped, shouted, whooped, kissed, hugged, grinned (a lot), slept (not a lot), and stood in awe at so many wonderful sights and experiences. To top it all, I've met some great people. I don't think I've had a day go by when I haven't smiled.
As the saying goes (courtesy of Ninja's tattoo) ...Life is not measured by the breathes you take, but by the moments that take your breath away - if that's the case.......life is measuring up pretty damn good!!!
Right.........where next......
