Hi folks! Just wanted to tell you about our awesome day...up well early to catch boat to Koh Phi Phi, stoppping off on the way for people to go snorkelling-obviously we declined-no swimming in deep open water eh Shone?! Then it was on to Phi Phi Don-one of the worst affected areas by the tsunami-it was hot from 2 directions and was totally flattened...quite an eye opener...even tho its been three months and theres a massive volunteer effort the devastation is still pretty clear-didnt want to take too many morbid photos but maybe you can get the idea? we were pretty quiet and contemplative as we walked around...Then it was off to Phi Phi Leh where The Beach was filmed-it really is breathtaking...I dont think the photos do it justice! plus, after the tsunami there are less tourists so much more peaceful. Anyway, must dash-need to sort out transport to Phuket airport for tomorrow... Much love as ever, Exx
