Hi everyone! Yep, thats right, we're back in Thailand..! sad to leave Oz but ready to move on...altho, hasnt been the easiest of transitions. Basically Katies contracted tonsilitis and bronchitis and is not in a good way...in fact at this minute she's in a Thai hospital hooked up to a drip...dont worry tho its only temporary whilst we wait to hear back from the insurance company to see if theyll cover flying her home...basically we figured theres no way she would recover if we were dragging her around Laos and Cambodia, so the plan is for her to go home for the next couple of weeks and then come back with Celia and rejoin us down on Koh Phangan. Its all such a shame and a total palava-Thai hospital workers are not the easiest people to communicate with, esp not after 24 hours of travelling, on 4 diferent planes...so anyway, yeah, she should be home in the next couple of days so anyone who's around in Bath be sure to send yours and our love... at the mo, the three of us remaining dont know what the plans are-were all a bit despondent-dont want to lose a key member of the team! but once weve made some decisions Ill update...safe to say, we're all ok and doing our best to ensure Katie gets home as swiftly as poss... hope everyone is well, keep in touch, love Emmaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
