Hi! so we're in Cairns and shall be until we depart next week, headed back for Bangkok-cant wait-dont intend to hold back on the shopping this time! Cairns is a lot of fun and its nice to be settled and off the Oz bus-have to say it did not live up to expectations the second time round-mores the pity. our days now mainly consist of shopping and sunbathing-when the sun manages to penetrate the rainclouds-not so good-am looking forward to better weather in Asia. we went to Port Douglas the other day...alright, nothing great about it-felt like quite a retirement town-plenty of crisping to be had on the beach tho so not all bad. hoping to go out to the reef tomorrow-look at me, little water baby! dont plan to dive but want to do more snorkelling...
