We took a bus to siam reap it took about 6 hours,we met a cambodian guy on the bus who worked at a hotel (happy guesthouse) so we got a free lift with him avoiding the crowds of motorbike taxis. it was nice enough for 4 dollars a night with free ride to the main strip which was full of nice bars and restarants.        the guy we met on the couch was the tuk tuk driver for the guesthouse (he keeps calling  simon - John even though we keep correcting him) he took us to " "Anchor WAT" where we was advised to get a 3 day pass for 40 dollars(rather then a 1 day pass for 20 dollars} we spent the whole day walking up and around the various temples which was a bit tiring in the heat. Next day we set off again taking countless photos but desided to call it a day at about 1 o clock ,both desiding that impressive at Anchor is we were templed out , we booked ongoing ticket by boat to Battembang.
