Had a wonderful time in Boston. It's very different from NY, it was nice to be a bit more relaxed here. We spent our 1st day doing boring but normal things like washing and food shopping, then relaxed on Boston common and had a wander round the local area. The hostel we are staying in is really nice, lots of friendly people, smaller rooms and better facilities.
Done lots here too, went to the science museum and then did the freedom trail to learn a bit about Boston. Also did a duck tour on an amphibious vehicle which went round the city and in the river. Also went over to Harvard and did the natural history museum and then went up the Prudential tower for amazing views if the city. Today we went to the aquarium which had a huge tank with a walkway all around it. Best of all we went whale watching and saw loads of humpbacks including mothers with calves, feeding and jumping whales. Definitely an unforgettable experience.
Flying to San Fran tomorrow for the next leg of our trip.

Nan and Grandad Said you'd like Boston - it's a nice place - and the whale trip sounds great. Enjoy San Francisco & all it has to offer - we did the boat trip you are doing & loved it. When you get there check out Fishmans Wharf it's a great place.
