Hello again! We have made it safely to China courtesy of our 2 day boat! Canteen food was interesting/ inedible, vending machine cup noodles and beers came to the rescue tho! Despite rumour they do not play the titanic theme tune as a wake up call in the morning, however, unfortunately they do announce that breakfast is available in both chinese and japanese style at 7am! Arrived in Oaska this afternoon after 3 nights in Kyoto! Took 4 trains from mt fuji to kyoto including one bullet which tips on its side to speed up! Saw many a shrine and temple in kyoto - photos to follow!
