Hello! Sorry for the delay computers in China are not the quickest! We are currently in Wuhan but thought we'd better start with Beijing! Arrived in Beijing Friday the 15th via sleeper train which was relatively uneventful altho some amusement when Linz attempted to take her jumper off on top bunk with 2 inches of head room - quality photo to follow! First day we spent wandering around Tiananmen square and getting lost on way back to hostel. Also enjoyed trips to the olympic city, summer palace, forbidden city and the great wall! Highlight of great wall was the toboggan/chute back down!!

Stayed at a lovely hostel complete with chinese courtyard, amazing spring rolls and 2 Danish room mates! Expercienced a "chinese" night club which consisted of a room full of white people and an australian DJ! It was all going well until the Danish out partied us and at 3.30am we headed home. However it took 3 taxis to get back as kept trying to tell the taxi drivers that they had taken us to the wrong place- funnily enough they hadn't!
