at last i have internet access, suprisingly they dont have it in the jungle or up mt kinabalu! so when i arrived at borneo i had a free day before the group met so hired a boat to go to the island manukan. this was lovely, part of a national park so had to pay an entrance fee to get on it. did more snorkelling and a bit of lounging on beach. next day met the group, theres mainly 30 something, but a 50 and 64 year olds!! the group is great, having a really goo...

well im now in borneo at our starting point kota kinabalu. its a little town with a few malls and loads of asian food stalls. its much more quiet and less busy then bangkok or KL. ive walked aroung half of it already to find something to eat, i want cereals but im afraid its back to rice and noodles for me, tut tut.. the group all meet up tomorrow evening then we start the tour. not many tourists come here and i seem to be the only non malaysian in kk.. not many ...

well kl is certainly interesting. the traffic is ssoooooooo bad. most of the moped drivers wear there jackets the wrong way round. i asked a taxi driver why this was and he said to stop the wind on there chest. i asked why didnt they just do the zip up on the coat and he said it was the modern way!! how odd.. i keep smelling tiger balm here too. eveybody seemed to have it on some body bart in thailand too..... i saw a full day tour to an elephant sanctuary where...
