well im now in borneo at our starting point kota kinabalu. its a little town with a few malls and loads of asian food stalls. its much more quiet and less busy then bangkok or KL. ive walked aroung half of it already to find something to eat, i want cereals but im afraid its back to rice and noodles for me, tut tut.. the group all meet up tomorrow evening then we start the tour. not many tourists come here and i seem to be the only non malaysian in kk.. not many of them understand english that well either!! im heading round the rest of the town and stopping of at a cinema which i hope has english films on so i can have some entertainment tonight or its in the hotel room watching tv for me... from all the info guides borneo looks amazing, i cant wait to get going and see what it has in store. its a really safe laid back place and everyone is very friendly even if they dont understand what im saying. i feel like a real traveller here and not just another tourist like in thailand, which is good im really getting into the travelling vibe now. theres hardly any internet cafes around i struggled to find this one and i doubt they have one up mount kinablu or in the jungle so might not be able to add anymore blogs for a while.. xxxxxxxxxx
