We still felt pretty rough this morning but were soon revived by the full buffet breakfast included in the price of our hotel. The full works was provided along with pancakes with maple syrup, pastries, muffins, cereal, fruit, yoghurt etc! Needless to say we were keen to get our money's worth and delighted not to be eating plane food anymore (or Burger King for that matter...)

We picked up our campervan in Auckland this morning - it's so cool! You can certainly see us coming. We did part of Auckland's "Coast to Coast Walkway" as far as the top of Mount Eden (a dormant/extinct volcano) where we got some awesome views of the city, including the Sky Tower (apparently the tallest structure is the Southern Hemisphere).

We then hit the road and drove up north to Waipu Cove where we set up camp for the night following a good walk along the beautiful long beach at sunset. Using the communal kitchens and setting up our bed in the camper for the first time was effort! I hope we get more efficient as time goes on...
