I love it up here! On the five hour bus ride from Kuala Lumpur, we spent a good hour just driving up these really windy roads cut into the side of a mountain, then all of a sudden we were in Tanah Rata, the main town in the Cameron Highlands. After one night ferry, two mini-vans, one coach, a border crossing and twenty six hours travelling, I finally made it to Kuala Lumpur! Got the ferry from Ko Phangan on Wednesday dinnertime, then got transferred to Bo Phut where I was staying. I arrived here on Saturday, again with nowhere to stay. Once I got off the ferry, loads of people were there asking if people needed taxis so I went with one that was going up to Haad Yao in the north east of the island, as that's where I'd been looking at to stay.
