After a good lie in we got up and took a tuk tuk to the grand palace which was incredible! there is just gold and jewels as far as the eye can see! The grounds are great and the buildings are amazing! The detailing on the statues is also a sight to behold! It must have cost a fortune! We worked our way round and took off our shoes many times and finally got to the emerald buddha,no photos can be taken but it is breath taking! He sits on a huge throne of gold ...
