Up early as being picked up at 7. Said goodbye to Claire which was hard. Felt car sick all of the way up there, maybe too much wine last night. Went on a cruise up the Daintree river and saw loads of mangroves and even a wild crocodile.

Met a lovely woman who is a lecturer at Cardiff university. Went for a walk through the jungle which was amazing and then headed off for the hostels just after midday. Ferntree resort is amazing, it has its own spa and massage parlour. Had a nap in the afternoon and went for a walk along the beach to see 'where the rainforest meets the reef' which was pretty cool.
