Up at a reasonable time, went shopping and brought birthday dresses for Claire's birthday in two days. Finally got round to posting post cards so I hope that they arrive in time for Christmas! Tried to upload photos but I think I have got sand in my camera but it is still working well so it could be worse, it just means that i can't upload any more photos until I get home!

Spent half a day fighting with travel agents but finally got the deal that i wanted for Cape Tribulation and i am going to go and do my diving up there rather that in Cairns as well.

Claire met a guy called Andy and we went sailing on his boat in the afternoon. There is a race in Airlie every Wednesday and there were over 30 boats out. Really good fun but there was a lot of shouting a swearing going on with all of the guys yelling over each other and each blaming another when they missed the wind. Bruised all of my knees from scrambling from one side to the other when we were tacking.

Went back to the Sailing club afterwards for drinks and then everyone went back to Andy's for the after party as we had done quiet well in the race. Rolled home at 3 ish and had to be up early the next morning.
