Didn´t sleep well last night, beds a bit crummy and loads of people up partying until late. Headed to the ruins on the beach in Tulum today. Not the most spectacular ruins we have seen but what a setting on the beach front. Climbed down to the beach and stayed there for a while but paranoid about burning again. Went to an Italian for dinner that Hannah went to 10 years ago and still remembered how good the pizzas were, and they did not disappoint!

Weather really nice today so headed back to the beach but got in a taxi today as didn´t fancy the bike ride to the beach again! Got a bit burnt so headed back to the hostel for an afternoon. Burritos for dinner which were really good and fresh.

Left Merida, very sad. On a four hour bus journey to Tulum. Arrived to the very shabby but very cool Hostel Casa del Sol. Biked to the beach (10km round trip) which was amazing, Carribean sea gorgeous! Met some really cool people in the hostel, too much tequila and some great diving stories!

Chilled out few days, went to WalMart to stock up on some food for a few days as as good as Mexican food is, you do get a bit cheesed out after a while, in need of salad and bread! Had good fun at the post office today and Hannah got to practice a lot of Spanish but we got there eventually and my stuff is being shipped back to England as we speak, hopefully! Heading to Tulum tomorrow.

Shopping day! Loads of places here selling everything from sombreros to jewellery. Spent a small fortune but worth it as got some really nice things. Even got given a box to put everything in which is handy as going to try to ship it some before we leave Merida. Had a chilled afternoon and some mango sorbet which was scrummy. Out for dinner of burritos which were incredible and really filling. Had a cocktail in the same place as the other night. Supposed t...
