Today was stunning, the sun shining, blue skies the works. So we went for our free brekki...mmmm!! And wandered to the beachfront...sat there for a little bit and admired the aqua clear waters and the surrounding lush green islands with the white sand and long boats bobbing about in the water. Despite the beauty, you could also see signs of the devastation caused by the tsunami....patches of wrecked areas, building works, scaffolding, temporary buildings. There was a sign for a 7-11 but there was no shop, just a concrete casing and nothing else....it was pretty weird.

Anyway, got on with the sunbathing side of things lol on the other beach that was a 2 minute walk away and lay there all day!! Swimming a bit...well sitting down cos the water was shin high lol...In the afternoon the tide had dropped and the clear blue water was about just touching our toes so you could just lay down and sunbath in the sea....thats the life, it was so surreal but awsome lol. By the end of the day my butt and back of my legs were burnt to a crisp and i struggled to walk, sit down or sleep...NIGHTMARE i've never really been badly burnt and it was horrible! eurgh!
