The coach from Ho Chi Minh took 12 hours, although it was only supposed to take 9! Luckily we had a sleeper coach with beds so the journey didn't seem that bad. They seem to take twice the time doing anything out here so we expect every journey to take longer than they say!

We arrived in Nha trang around 8 that night, the hostel was basic and the owners not very friendly! We went out for dinner that night to a nice restaurant down the road, everywhere seemed to be full of westerners and nha trang seems more of a built up town which we didn't really expect.

The next day we spent the whole day on the beach and I got very burnt! They have a lovely restaurant/bar on the beach called the sailing club which had amazing food. The beach was lovely and even went for a swim in the sea! We went out that night to a few bars and a beach party, the nightlife there is very lively and always busy. We had a lye in the next day and went to the beach again- but had to stay in the shade, a lot cooler today as there was a storm coming. Yummy dinner in the sailing club that night.

On the Monday we had a flight in the evening to Hanoi but it was raining the whole day so we decided to treat ourselves and get massages and our nails done- everything is so cheap here! (About 50p a beer!!)

Wish we had a couple of days longer in nha trang but we booked our internal flights before we came so we had a schedule to follow!
